Nick "Southern Drawl" Smith is a lyricist from Southern Maryland.

"Came From the Mud... Fresh Out the Beach." 

Growing up in a home filled with musicians, it was only natural that Nick would develop an eclectic artistry. 

Although his late father's influence in classic rock, blues, and jazz were the spark in learning to sing and write songs; Nick grew into his own unique "Southern Drawl." DMX, 2Pac, Lynrd Skyrd, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are among a few of his musical idols. 

Basement jams led to freestyle cyphers and battling local rappers, allowing Nick Smith to hone his craft in a country hip-hop, rap-rock Southern blues sound. 

Nick "Southern Drawl" Smith started his Southern Drawl project with his "Country Livin - Freestyle" in the Summer of 2023. He has created 20+ videos/clips displaying the love, passion, and message that this God-Given talent must be shared with the world.
